Basic charges for Analog, etc. differ depending on the subscription and type of usage (business use/residential use).
- - Optional service charges apply for using Call Waiting and other optional services.
- - Internal wiring usage charges and terminal equipment usage charges apply for renting internal wiring/terminal equipment.

*About Telephone Universal Service Fee
The telephone universal service fee is paid for ensuring the provision of universal services (subscriber telephones, public telephones, emergency calls) throughout Japan. The fee is same as the cost per phone number (number unit price) stipulated by the universal service support organization (Telecommunications Carriers Association). And will be reviewed in line with changes in the unit price per number by the universal service support organization.
*About Telephone Relay Service Fee
The telephone relay service fee is paid for ensuring the provision of the telephone relay service (which meditates communication by telephone for the hearing impaired, etc. using sign language and so on). The fee is same as the cost per phone number (unit price per number) stipulated by the telephone relay service support organization (Telecommunications Carriers Association).

- - You can choose to rent wiring or use your own (subscribed-provided). Internal wiring usage charges do not apply if using subscriber-provided equipment, but you will be required to pay for any repairs in case of line failure.

- *1 If your bill shows a telephone set usage charge, colored phone usage charge, touch-tone telephone usage charge, etc., you are currently renting a telephone set. Please contact NTT West if you have purchased a telephone set and no longer need the rental telephone set.
Terminal equipment usage charges differ for rotary telephone sets depending on the equipment used. Please dial 116 for details.
