EcoPro 2019 Efforts toward Environment Management
NTT West Group took part in the 21st "EcoPro 2019 - Towards a Sustainable Society" exhibition that was held from December 5 to 7, 2019.
A total of 147,653 people visited the EcoPro2019 exhibition. With "moving towards a sustainable society with the local community" as the theme, NTT West Group, together with NTT and NTT East, exhibited information to convey our stance to engage in different initiatives for achieving a sustainable society based on the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), which have also been gaining recognition lately in environmental management.
In addition to promoting "EV100," which is a common goal set by NTT West Group and NTT East to achieve 100% adoption of EV for general vehicles of the entire NTT Group by 2030, we also exhibited information on "certificate issuing service," "food recycling," and our environmental mascot character "Yui Yachigusa," all of which have attracted the attention of a large number of visitors.
As an enterprise that helps to address social issues, NTT West Group will continue to make contributions to the SDGs through our business activities as well as by offering a wide variety of information.
