Midori Ippai Project Activities LINE 321"Obiyamachi Symbol Road Flowerbeds" Replanting Work November 14, 2018 NTT West Kochi Group
On November 14, 2018 (Wednesday), NTT West Kochi Group held a replanting activity for the Obiyamachi Symbol Road flowerbeds at the center of Kochi City.
Marking the 27th anniversary since its launch in 1991, this activity is held twice a year in spring and autumn as "a token of hospitality with seasonal flowers" for both the locals and tourists to enjoy the seasonal flowers that bloom in autumn and winter.
This year, a total of 30 participants, including employees and retired employees of Kochi Group, spent about an hour to replant a total of 880 flowers including pansies and violas, which bear beautiful flowers and are able to withstand the winter coldness.
The participants planted each plant carefully with the hope that their effort can help to beautify the city and that the beautiful blossoms could bring peace of mind to everyone.
Flowers planted along the road will bloom colorfully and continue to offer a pleasant experience to the passers-by.
NTT West Kochi Group will engage in the "Midori Ippai Project" by continuing to take part in this activity to fill the areas around Obiyamachi with flowers and greenery.
