Efforts Based on Suppliers' Proposals
We procure different products from the providers of telecommunications equipment (suppliers), and have received many proposals from our suppliers to make improvements and enhance efficiency in relation to environment-friendly materials and manufacturing methods. We are working with them to procure environment-friendly products.
Example: Change of metal washers (SS separators) for overhead metal fittings
Previously, we used a flat washer and a spring washer to prevent loosening at positions on overhead metal fittings where a nut is to be tightened. We have made improvements by using a single wave washer instead of two washers (flat washer and spring washer).
