The "Clean Environment Mission" is a part of our social action program as well as endeavor to beautify the surroundings of the local region and protect the natural environment through cleaning activities. This year marks the 27th round of event since the launch of the activity in 1989.
Blessed with fine weather, a total of 703 employees, former employees and family members of the NTT West Group took part in the event to collect and separate garbage such as seaweeds, empty cans, glass bottles and PET bottles.
Thanks to the support provided by the trailer team formed by the newly-recruited employees to collect the bags of trash, the beach is now clean.
At the opening address, the chairman of the Local Government Association of Shikanoshima expressed gratitude to NTT Group for the long years of cleaning activity.
It was also a day that allowed the participating employees and their family members to think about protection of the natural environment through cleaning up litter at the beach.
