NTT Top-down Model to estimate Long-Run Incremental Costs



The Long-Run Incremental Cost Model Study Group of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications has issued a draft Model dated July 30, 1999 and is inviting comments. In response, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation today submitted their comments on the draft Model and proposed the NTT Top-Down Model for estimating long-run incremental costs, as shown in the attachment.

It is planned to hold a presentation giving an overview of the NTT Top-Down Model in the UrbanNet Otemachi Building (the meeting room near Entrance D, 13th floor, UrbanNet Otemachi Building 2-2-2 Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 100-0004 Japan) from 10.00 am to 12.00 (noon) on September 2, 1999. Anyone wishing to attend is invited to contact the organizers (see below) by August 30, 1999.
