NTT West has decided to offer a broadband communications service named FLET'S Communication ("the Service") to customers using B FLET'S, FLET'S ADSL, and FLET'S ISDN ("FLET'S Series Services") in order to meet the need for a variety of different modes of communication, including video, voice, and text data, that has developed with the spread of broadband communications. The company submitted its pricing scheme today to the Minister of Public Management, Home Affairs, Posts and Telecommunications.

(1) Outline
The Service enables multimedia communications using a range of media such as video, voice, and text data, between customers subscribing to our FLET'S series services.
A customer (contracted user) will be able to establish communication by logging into the Service's connection control unit and paging another customer (another contracted user) who is already logged into the unit using a nickname*1.
Customers will be able to use the Service once they have installed software*2 distributed by NTT West on their personal computers. |

A nickname is a username made up of a combination of 1 to 15 alphanumeric characters that can be chosen and registered by customers. (Example: nttwest1) |
