5.GREAT SERVICES FOR THE INTERNET
INS-Net 64/INS-Net 64 Lite
By changing your existing telephone line over to INS-Net 64 for ISDN, you can conduct data transmissions for the Internet, videophone etc. at 64 kbps (max. 128 kbps*), which is approx. twice the speed of an analog line with modem. You can continue to use your existing telephone or fax by using a TA (terminal adapter). Also, as INS-Net 64 lets you use two circuits over one telephone line, you can use the telephone or fax while on the Internet at the same time. You can change from your existing analog line to ISDN without changing your telephone number in most areas nationwide.
Communications equipment such as terminal adapters and the Internet service provider must be compatible with 128 kbps transmission.
Transmission charges will be twice ordinary charges when 128 kbps (2B) is used for transmissions.
