| What is MYLINE? |
 |
| By selecting a telephone carrier you want to give priority to
and registering it, subscribers can make calls without dialing telephone carrier
access codes (e.g. '00XY') for local calls, in-prefecture long-distance calls,
inter-prefecture calls and international calls. |
| '00XY' refers to the access code for telephone
carriers that begins with 00 and is 3 - 6 digits long. |

Carrier Selection Service
MYLINE |
|
|
 |
| By registering the telephone carrier you wish to use, you don't
have to dial the access code for that carrier to make calls. |
| You can enter another telephone carrier's
access code to use another telephone carrier. |

Carrier Designation Service
MYLINE PLUS |
|
|
 |
| Even if other telephone carrier access codes are dialed before
the number, you will only be connected through the pre-registered telephone carrier. |
| However, if you cannot use the telephone
carrier you have pre-registered in the event of emergencies, dial '122' followed
by another carrier's access code and the number you want to dial to make calls
using a carrier other than the one you have pre-registered. |
 |
| If you have not registered... |
 |
| If you have not applied for MYLINE, NTT West will be used for
local calls and in-prefecture long-distance calls, and NTT Communications will
be used for inter-prefectural calls. |
 |
| When you make international calls... |
 |
From May 1, 2001, it is necessary to dial the international dialing
prefix '010' before the number you want to dial.
(You can continue to use the previous dialing method until April 2003.) |
| |
Written application is required for this
service. |
| |
Registrations and changes are free of charge
for applications received by October 31, 2001. An ¥800 (¥840 tax included) MYLINE registration
fee will apply for applications received from November 1, 2001. |

No monthly charges apply to use MYLINE or
