1. Best Effort and Guarantee
   GFR* compliant ATM transmission scheme was adopted for the first time in the world to provide the minimum Communication Rate (mCR) even under the heaviest traffic condition. Moreover, you can transmit up to the Peak Communication Rate (PCR) depending on the traffic condition so that you can achieve high speed communication against bursting traffic at reasonable cost.

   *GFR (Guaranteed Frame Rate) : certain ATM quality class products with guaranteed bandwidth provide high through-put even at packet level.

2. Asymmetrical Transmission
   When amount of transmission data are different for upload and download, you can set asymmetrical transmission speed at the time of subscription so that you can design an effective network.

3. Multiplexing on Terminal Circuit
   When multiple lines are installed at the same terminal site, you can use these lines on a single optical fiber in the access section (the installed location and the nearest NTT facility) to construct an economical network.

Usage Types

There are 2 types in terminal circuits.
single wire type : single ONU, multiple ONU
double wire type : DSU

Maintenance Grades

the following maintenance classes are available for Single Class;


Maintenance Grade	Description
Type 1	Customer service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. repair service is available during NTT business hour only (9:00 - 17:00 except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays)
Type 2	Customer service and repair service are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

*Type2 class is provided for the Dual Class
